This year on August 6th from 6-9 pm; the SCAMP Concours in the Park will be celebrating its 24th year and we are inviting you to join us in downtown Clarkston to celebrate the SCAMP benefit. Yes, due to several conflicts the date had to be moved and will be returning to it’s regular date in 2011.

 We are looking for many show quality cars to participate in the park car show. If you are interested in participating please send a photo of your car, a completed application form and a minimum donation of $25.00, payable to SCAMP. Please note that donation receipts will be issued to any donation over $100.00. All application forms are available on the web. Again this year we are accepting donations for the silent auction and social in lieu of the entry fee.

There will be an escorted cruise from Southern Motors. Staging starts at 4:00 pm, the cruise will leave promptly at 5:00 pm. We encourage all car show participants to take advantage of this great cruise. Please note if you have a classic car and are not entered in the car show you are still welcome to participate in the cruise. There will be special parking for all cruise members in the parking lot adjacent to the park. Participation is free, donations for SCAMP are encouraged.

The popular ice cream social will be complimented by mac and cheese, delicious sandwiches and beverages, so come hungry!

Again this year the silent auction will be conducted and we will have artwork, signed memorabilia and books. This auction is not just for the automotive enthusiast either; there are dinner gift certificates and several additional items to add interest.

We look forward to seeing you at the event and thank you for supporting Clarkston SCAMP!  For those of you that have moved or are busy and can not attend, you will be missed.
